Agarwood Essential  Oil

Agarwood Essential oil is extremely rare and expensive oil extracted from Agarwood trees. Agarwood essential oil, also known as OUD oil, is basically found in northeastern India, Bhutan, and parts of south East Asia. Generally it is used in making of incense and perfumes because of its pleasant fragrance. Agarwood aroma comes from a process where fungi infect the trees, producing an oleoresin which saturates the wood. It is through this oleoresin saturated wood where Agarwood develops its complex rich woody aroma. The Agarwood trees of Aquilaria Family are light in color and its fragrance is complex, deep and woody, and is highly valued as incense and oil.
